Shipping and Handling

Mainland UK (except Isle of Wight, Highlands and Islands of Scotland):

Delivery is FREE on Orders of £75.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £75.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £6.25 (ex VAT).

Isle of Wight (PO30-41):

Delivery is FREE on Orders of £200.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £200.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £13.10 (ex VAT).

Scottish Highlands and Islands of Scotland:

Delivery to postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE is FREE on Orders of £200.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £200.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £14.75 (ex VAT).

Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly:

Delivery to postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25 is FREE on Orders of £250.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £250.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £19.50 (ex VAT).

Channel Islands (Guernsey, Alderney, Herm, Sark & Jersey):

Delivery is FREE on Orders of £300.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £300.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £19.50 (ex VAT).

Delivery Schedule

Our normal office hours are 7:00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We aim to deliver your order fast - usually 3 to 4 working days! Remote/Offshore areas please allow 5 - 7 days for delivery. Orders placed outside office hours are dealt with the moment we re-open. We carry huge stocks centrally. However, if your item is not in stock, we will back order the item for you and deliver the item as soon as possible. If any item has a long delivery date we will endeavour to contact you and advise you of the estimated delivery date.

Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm. If you or the intended recipients are not available, each time an attempt is made, our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. Follow the instructions on this card to rearrange delivery or to collect your products. Our courier will attempt to deliver your parcel on three separate occasions before returning the item back to our offices.

On dispatch of your goods you will receive an email confirming dispatch and details on how to track your order when it has left the warehouse. You will have control of your own delivery so you will know when your parcel is arriving. If you wish you can tell the courier to deliver on a different day, or direct to a neighbour or Post Office branch. If you are unavailable to receive the parcel the courier provides a free onward delivery service to your local Post Office branch.

For reasons of health and safety and to avoid any property damage, most 'heavy' items can only be delivered to a ground floor location at the delivery address. You must therefore make your own arrangements at your own risk if the relevant item needs to be transported from the delivery location.

Returns Policy

By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 30 days from the day after the date the item is delivered. This only applies to unopened items in their original, sealed packaging.   

For us to deal with your return you will have to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and have the return approved by us before you return any item.  No item can be returned without first having their Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) approved. This can be obtained via your online account under order history and details following the instructions provided.

Customers must return unwanted goods at their own cost using a ‘signed for’ courier service. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect after these 30 days, nor if they have been used or removed from their original packaging. Upon inspection the sale will be credited less any handling or carriage charge costs. 

Please note that returning some items may incur a handling charge depending upon the manufacturer’s terms. This may be as much as 30% of the original invoiced amount from some manufacturers. Please carefully check and confirm all specifications before placing any order

Items can be returned outside this period if they are found to be faulty but please take extra care to read the manufacturer’s care instructions provided with your purchase. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care and installation instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse or an installation error. Claims for short deliveries (missing products) incomplete or damaged items must be made, in writing via email within 48 hours of delivery to info@sparkydirect.co.uk.

Returns Procedures

Returning Faulty Products

Products that are found to be faulty must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period, which is usually 12 months. The complete product must be returned unless, if agreed by the Company, a specific part may be returned. Products within the manufacturers specific warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or a refund given at the discretion of the Company. Sparky Direct Limited does not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss.

You will be advised of how the products will be exchanged or refunded once they have been inspected and tested.

We will send a prepaid label for the return of the faulty item(s). The item(s) can either be collected from your address or for your convenience you can drop the parcel off at your local post office.

Products must be complete and in their original packaging with all documentation.

Products must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.

Refunds for any products not required are at the discretion of the Company.

Non-standard products that have been ordered specially cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

A handling charge of up to 30% maybe charged at the discretion of the Company. Please check before placing your order if you are in any doubt.

A refund will be given once the returned item has been inspected and agreed that it is in a suitable condition for re-sale.
