Placing an order
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with or unclear about any aspect of these terms, please contact one of our customer service advisors before placing an order with us either by telephone on 01323 443947, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by post using the address given below. [Calls to our Customer Service team are charged at the local rate (BT customers only, other network providers may vary). All our calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Sparky Direct to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.
Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Sparky Direct for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you. Your credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods when you place your order. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate. Please see our Shipping and Handling.
All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change. We can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) if delivery takes place at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. All orders received and accepted before 4pm will, subject to availability and where possible, be dispatched on the same day for a 2 to 3 working day delivery. Those orders received and accepted after 4pm will be deemed as received the following day and will be dispatched on that day.
Shipping and Handling
Mainland UK (except Isle of Wight, Highlands and Islands of Scotland):
Delivery is FREE on Orders of £75.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £75.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £6.25 (ex VAT)
Isle of Wight (PO30-41):
Delivery is FREE on Orders of £200.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £200.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £13.10 (ex VAT)
Scottish Highlands and Islands of Scotland:
Delivery to postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE is FREE on Orders of £200.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £200.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £14.75 (ex VAT).
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly:
Delivery to postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25 is FREE on Orders of £250.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £250.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £19.50 (ex VAT).
Channel Islands (Guernsey, Alderney, Herm, Sark & Jersey):
Delivery is FREE on Orders of £300.00 (ex VAT) or more. Orders less than £300.00 are subject to a contribution towards delivery of £19.50 (ex VAT).
Our normal office hours are 7:00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We aim to deliver your order fast - usually 3 to 4 working days! Remote/Offshore areas please allow 5 - 7 days for delivery. Orders placed outside office hours are dealt with the moment we re-open. We carry huge stocks centrally. However, if your item is not in stock, we will back order the item for you and deliver the item as soon as possible. If any item has a long delivery date we will endeavour to contact you and advise you of the estimated delivery date.
Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm. If you or the intended recipients are not available, each time an attempt is made, our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. Follow the instructions on this card to rearrange delivery or to collect your products. Our courier will attempt to deliver your parcel on three separate occasions before returning the item back to our offices.
On dispatch of your goods you will receive an email confirming dispatch and details on how to track your order when it has left the warehouse. You will have control of your own delivery so you will know when your parcel is arriving. If you wish you can tell the courier to deliver on a different day, or direct to a neighbour or Post Office branch. If you are unavailable to receive the parcel the courier provides a free onward delivery service to your local Post Office branch.
For reasons of health and safety and to avoid any property damage, most 'heavy' items can only be delivered to a ground floor location at the delivery address. You must therefore make your own arrangements at your own risk if the relevant item needs to be transported from the delivery location.
Conformity of goods

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the products. Furthermore, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used to view the products.
We endeavor to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case we will back order the item for you and dispatch the item immediately it is available.
Your right to cancel (UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000)
You have a right to cancel your order in writing within seven days of receipt and receive a refund of all charges. If you wish to cancel an order for whatever reason, you have seven clear working days after delivery to let us know. We will refund you on return of goods.
You must return the goods to us at your own expense and take care of the goods whilst they are in your care including original manufacturers packaging.
Excluded are goods made or altered to the customer's specification (including cables cut to length)
We recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service to return goods.
The Company does not supply goods on a sale or return basis and there is no obligation on the Company to accept returned goods. Payment for the goods is due on or before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Company.
Goods are intended for use in the UK and we make no warranties that the goods are suitable for use outside the UK, or comply with any laws, regulations or standards of any jurisdiction outside the UK.
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 30 days from the day after the date the item is delivered. This only applies to unopened items in their original, sealed packaging.
For us to deal with your return you will have to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and have the return approved by us before you return any item. No item can be returned without first having their Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) approved. This can be obtained via your online account under order history and details following the instructions provided.

Items can be returned outside this period if they are found to be faulty but please take extra care to read the manufacturer’s care instructions provided with your purchase. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care and installation instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse or an installation error. Returning Faulty Products
Products that are found to be faulty must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period, which is usually 12 months. The complete product must be returned unless, if agreed by the Company, a specific part may be returned. Products within the manufacturers specific warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or a refund given at the discretion of the Company. Sparky Direct Limited does not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss.

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication, are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are exclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20%. VAT will be added at time of checkout. If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then your sales tax will be zero.
